Willy’s Personal Supplement Protocol
Many people frequently ask me what kind of supplements are you taking and why? So here is my own personal supplement protocol and why I belief (based on many medical studies and articles) the supplements I am taking makes a difference in performance and health.
DHEA (50 mg)(dehydroepiandrosterone) is a hormone which is structurally similar to other hormones (such as Estrogen, Progesterone and Testosterone) but which possesses its own spectrum of biologic effects. It is secreted by the Adrenal glands and current research suggest DHEA may be a value in preventing and treating cardiovascular disease, high Cholesterol, Diabetes, Obesity, Cancer, Alzheimer’s Disease, Immune system disorders and Chronic Fatigue.
Recommendation anyone over 40 DHEA capsule Micronized.
Men 50 mg in am > 200lbs 75-100mg
Women 10 mg in am if over 40
15 mg in am if over 50
25 mg in am if over 60
VIT D (1000 IU) it is estimated that at least 30% and as much as 80% of the US population is VIT D deficient. Even here in FL it is a issue because of Sunscreen use, blocking 99% UVB, eliminating photoactivation of VIT D.
Recommendation today 1000-2000 IU reduces risk of Rheumatoid Arthritis in women by 50% and risk of cancer (Breast, Colorectal, Ovarian, Prostate) by 50%

Women start of with 1 MG up to 30 MG titrate to effect.
I am currently taking 12 MG, 1 hour before bedtime. it is really working for me now.
I really believe that; high quality supplements in combination with healthy diet will increase your quality of life. I frequently give the following example to people ( since I was a car mechanic many years ago) if your car needs high octane fuel to run its best you will give it that fuel. It will run on low octane but will it run as smooth and will it last as long???
Most people take better care of their cars than the own bodies, that is pretty sad.
